7:40am. "Dobbies" services (A5/A49 junction), south of Shrewsbury, in the Little Chef car park (I will not be meeting at Dobbies as I am going by train)
Public Transport
I am catching the 7:29 am train from Shrewsbury, which arrives in Aberystwth at 9:20 am (£20.90 return). Connections are available from Ludlow, Birmingham and Chester directions
Walk Summary
A lovely late spring walk along a remote and dramatic section of the Ceridigion coast path. Our route takes us past: Aberystwyth castle, Tanybwlch beach and Penderi cliffs Wildlife Trust nature reserve, with its unusual hanging Oak woodland containing: Bluebells, Oxeye Daisies, Red Campion, Foxgloves and Wood Sage. Many seabirds nest in this area such as: Chough, Buzzard, Kestrel, Peregrine, Raven, Cormorant, Herring Gull, Great Black Backed Gull, Fulmar, Whitethroat, Wheatear, Stonechat and Linnet.

We will return to Aberystwyth from Llanrhystud by T5 bus, they run every hour and the bus stop is outside the Black Lion pub on the A487.
