Walk Summary
A festive Christmas Eve stroll in the picturesque Severn Valley; this route takes us from the small, peaceful village of Upper Arley up into Seckley Woods. On the way, we will pass Upper Arley train station - a traditional Victorian station with the chance of spotting a steam train as we cross over the bridge. On entering the woods, we will reach a viewpoint overlooking Trimpley Reservoir where we will stop for lunch, mince pies and some warming winter punch. From there, we will descend to the banks of the River Severn and return to the start point.

Please Note: The walk leader will meet at the start point in Upper Arley. Car sharing is possible from Dobbies, depending on whether anyone is available to meet there (please check first).
