Start Point and Parking
Rodneys Pillar car park near Criggion quarry reached from Dobbies by following the A458 towards Welshpool and continuing until the village of Ford. In Ford turn right onto the B4393 and head towards Llandrinio. Pass through the village of Crew Green. Take the first left turning shortly after exiting the village signposted Criggion quarry and continue towards Criggion quarry. The car park will be on the left before reaching the quarry.

Walk Summary
An undulating walk comprising the three hills of Breidden Hill, Moel Y Golfa and Middletown hills which are situated between Criggion and Crew Green with the potential for panoramic views from the tops.
Terrain
Woodland, tracks, fields, hills, lanes, and a brief rocky section, also about 100 yards alongside the main road on entry into Middletown.
Ascent
There will be climbs up each of the three hills on the route totalling over 750 metres of ascent.

Moel Y Golfa at 403 metres

Some paths on the route have the potential to be boggy.
There is a short easy scramble near the top of Moel Y Golfa
