Start Point and Parking |
Shropshire Hills Discovery Centre car park, School Road, Craven Arms. SY7 9RS. From the junction of the A5/A49 (S) Shrewsbury at Dobbies take the A49 south towards Ludlow. Pass Church Stretton. In Craven Arms follow the brown signs to Discovery Centre - it's the last building on the left on leaving Craven Arms. Plenty of free parking available here or if full use car park at Tuffins Supermarket nearby. |

May be muddy. A lovely walk with views from View Edge west to Clun Forest and east and south to Clee Hills, Wenlock Edge and Mortimer Forest. The walk passes Stokesay Castle, not really a castle but a 10th century fortified manor house! |
