Other Details

This walk offers spectacular views over the welsh Marches and Teme Valley. We pass through the secluded hamlet of Stowe before ascending Stow Hill. Later, we pick up a well preserved section of the Offa’s Dyke path, an impressive earthwork dating back over 1200 years.

A mix of forest tracks, farmland, grassy hills and footpaths /bridleways. Some steepish ascents, most notably up to Stow Hill (>200m climb).

Extremely muddy at times. Waterproof footwear is essential! (Gaiters also recommended).

Exposed in places – please bring warm/windproof clothing.
